Why are you so mean!?

The past few weeks in maths, our teacher have told us about his friends *meaning strategies and ways to solves maths problems* which is called Mean,Median,Mode and Range.  the first three ones are called the M triplets, and the last one is like a big brother/sister.

So for today I have made a DLO about the first one which is the Mean.  The Mean has 3 definitions to it, the we need is the average meaning for the mean.  So I hope you learn something and have a great day.

Street Art

This week and last week for kete we had to create our own street art that represents our country and ourselves.  So in week 9 we had to look at the different kinds of street art so then after that in the following week we had to create a draft about out personality and something about our country.  After making the draft we explained what it means to us and why we drew it. 

So then after after that we had to create our final copy within 4 days luckily I finished it before the due date.  Even though it maybe is too late to post this please enjoy!

Explanation:
The inside of the circle means the weather in the Philippines because I was born in the Philippines and also because there are only 2 season in the Philippines which is rain and summer.  So then the the butterfly represents me because I like and it is coloured like the galaxy.  Lastly the background represents the different colours of different kinds of people (meaning in there hearts). 

Reflection: I think I liked my work and did a great job, but maybe next I should be more clear about how I explain what it means to me. 

The Final PLacing for the 2018 Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games has finally, ended I wished there was more but as I said it has already ended.  For today's post I am going to tell the final medal ranking of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.  It has been a really long week for the commonwealth games, and I am hoping that New Zealand can rank better than their current rank which is 6th.  Just below what I am saying you will the full chart of the medal ranking for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.  

The medal ranking is also based on the most gold medals.

Time?

The past few weeks which is week 9 - week 10 we have been learning to do statistics strategies for our statistics test on weeks 11.   This one is the second strategy, if you have seen the first strategy we did was the stem and leaf graph but on this one we are learning how to use a time series graph.  On this one I could not make a DLO because it was to hard to make the time series graph so instead I made an explanation.

A time series graph is a graph where you can collect the data that has passed over time.  Meaning the data it uses are either from years,months,weeks,days,minutes or even seconds .   So basically a time series is  graph that holds data about time.

2018 Commonwealth Games

It is back, the Commonwealth games are back.  For this Commonwealth games, it is being held in Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia.  There are about 71 nations participating in the event/Commonwealth Games.  The games started in the 4th of April.  Even though I have posted a bit late please enjoy what I have to say about the Commonwealth games.  I will also be telling you some facts about the Commonwealth games.

In the Commonwealth games there will be approximately 275 event.  The Commonwealth games will run from the 4th of April to the 15th of April.  This years Commonwealth games is basically known as XXl Commonwealth Games.  this is also the fifth time that Australia has hosted the Commonwealth games.  The stadium that is mainly used for the the 2018 Commonwealth games was Carrara Stadium.

Stem or Leaf?

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone i hope you guys had a great long holiday this weekend.  Easter is kinda confusing for some people so I am here to remind you of Easter's history and which day we are supposed to celebrated Easter. 

History of Easter:
Easter can also be called as Pascha which is Greek/Latin and also Resurrection Sunday.  Is a holiday/festival to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead .  This occurred on the 3rd day after he was buried by the Roman's in c. 30 AD.  This was also said in the bible in churches.
