New Zealand Government Structure

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post, today in Hurumanu 6 I have finished another independent activity. In that activity, we had to learn about the New Zealand Government Structure, how they run and how people share their ideas. In this activity, I learned a lot about the New Zealand Government Structure and the roles they play. I hope you enjoy reading my post!

Learning outcome:

Understand how the New Zealand government is structured and how people can have a say.

The government structure is made up of four groups. First the Head of the State: Her Majesty, the Queen, who is represented by the Governor-General - Dame Patsy Reddy. Then we have the Legislative which is the parliament, they make laws and update old ones. After that, we have the Executive which is the Government Cabinet, they run the laws, they also develop new laws. Lastly, we have the Judicial,  they are a combination of courts, judges and police. They interpret laws and deals with cases.  (Not particularly listed)

Something I found interesting about the structure was how well organised their structure was. Coming from another country we have different types of structures. I want to know more about the history of the structure. How were they made? Any major conflicts?
