Kiwi Ingenuity

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post. Today we learned about different inventions by New Zealanders. We first had to write down two examples of Kiwi Ingenuity that would most benefit New Zealanders and the one that would least benefit New Zealanders.

Most Benefit: Waterfall Slide in Arthurs Pass

It benefits New Zealanders by protecting them from the waterfall and it's very beautiful to see the waterfall while passing by. It is also to make a clear path for the road.

Least Benefit: Hedge Trimmer

It doesn't really benefit New Zealanders, because it is too expensive and not all of us have the money to by a truck or a crane. It is also very complicated, a truck is very heavy and quite hard to move around.

After that, we had to choose two Kiwi Ingenuity that we think would be the most likely to capture the imagination of people in other countries.

1. The Scootboard.

I think that the scootboard is a cool vehicle, it can be useful to people who want to start riding the skateboard. It would be good for schools if younger children want to try using a skateboard.

2. Van Boat

The van boat is a very unique and interesting vehicle, I think that overseas companies would be interested in the way it was designed and how it works. It is very innovative because it used something that they had.
