My favourite animal

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post. In ESOL we had to create a blog post describing our favourite animal, singer or actor. I chose to do an animal because animals are amazing.

They have a potato-shaped body with fluffy fur.
They have loud voices that can be heard from afar.
They are useful creatures that can provide us with warmth.
They are cute animals.

That's all for today! Please stay safe, remain indoors and wash your hands often. Have a great day!

A day wandering through a magical place

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post, I hope you are having a great day so far! Today we had our first ESOL lesson and we had to write a story about the best day of our summer holiday. Please enjoy reading my story!

During the holidays my family and I had planned a big trip to go to some countries in South East Asia. Those countries were Taiwan and Hong Kong. My auntie is currently living in Taiwan and a friend of my mother has been living in Hong Kong. It was an 11-day trip, but my favourite day was the 10th day. That day we went to Hong Kong Disneyland, it was a magical place with many cool rides and decorations. We went there on the 30th of December 2019, the skies were clear and the sun was shining brightly on the busy streets.

We went to Disneyland by MTR, which is a train that goes to places around Hong Kong. The one we rode on looked very special it had cute designs such as mickey mouse stickers and some pillows on the seats. Though when we rode it the seats were unfortunately taken.

Once we had arrived people rushed out of the train and ran to the entrance. It was very crowded so I felt very nervous and cramped. But luckily we got out safely. Walking to the entrance we were welcomed by a huge fountain displaying all the characters from Mickey Mouse and a character from a Disney movie.

After admiring the fountain we walked to a nearby shop to buy some keychains and some merchandise. I wanted to buy them all because they were all so unique and interesting. After some time we finally got inside the park. There was a train station displaying the Disneyland logo, which I thought was very decorative and beautiful.

Disneyland is a big place to we were provided with maps that gave a very detailed explanation on what goes on and places in Disneyland. We walked to the main street where a huge Christmas tree was displayed and exquisite buildings were exhibited. My favourite building was the Museum and the shop where they gave ice cream out.

After looking through the streets we explored a place called Tomorrow Land where we rode a rollercoaster. It was very scary. My mother, who rode it with me, couldn't talk after the ride because she said it was a "Horrifying Experience." But it was also fun at the same time, the graphics were well developed and it was very safe.

After that, we didn't really ride anything else we just looked around and explored museums and ate a lot of delicious foods. At the end of the day we heard that there was going to be a parade, we were so lucky to have experienced a parade in Disneyland. The mascots and dancers were all so unique and amazing.

In conclusion, I had enjoyed this day the best, it was very fun to experience new cultures of food and explore beautiful areas.
