Interview with Alliah Notario

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post, I hope you're all having a great day. Today we were given a task where we interview someone about their Covid-19 lockdown. I decided to interview my friend Alliah.

Alliah Notario - Quarantine Interview

How did you feel before the lockdown?
“Before the lockdown, I felt very tired because of the work we had to do. Also very thankful because
we get to stay at home. I am very disappointed because I don’t get to see my friends anymore.”

What did you like about lockdown?
“I like the lockdown because I can sleep late and watch more k-pop. I also got to read more manga
and watch random videos. I also got the chance to draw more things. I also got more time to myself
and my family.”

How did you feel during the lockdown?
“I feel thankful because I had more time for myself and have more free time. I was very annoyed
because we had many assignments to do. I also felt very relieved because I have a lot of time to do
my assignments and spend time with my family. I was also worried about the people who were
affected by the virus.”

What did you do during the lockdown?
“I watched k-pop and talked to annoying friends to ask if they are doing well. I draw a lot and do
my assignments so that after I finish them I have a lot of time to watch random videos and do
anything I want. I also attended google meets, but sometimes I didn't because I wasn't awake.”

What didn’t you like about lockdown?
“A lot of people getting sick and sometimes I get bored at home because I had nothing to do.
I was also very dejected because I didn’t get to see my friends until 7 weeks. I also didn’t like
doing the assignment, because sometimes I didn’t know what to do.  ”

What did you do with your family during the lockdown?
“We ate different Filipino foods that we made. We also cleaned the house and watched some
Korean Drama’s together, though it was only with my dad because my mum apparently doesn’t
like K-drama.”

How did you feel about coming back to school.?
“I felt disappointed because I don’t want to do more work and I felt too lethargic to wake up early.
I also felt wonderful because I get to see all my friends and have more time to spend with them.”

How do I feel about going to school?

Hi everyone! I hope all of you are doing well, today I am here to share my feeling about going to school. For me, I don't really like to school, this is because we need to wake up early and we have lots of work to do. This is because waking up early is one of my greatest weaknesses.

I don't have a really great sleeping schedule, sometimes I sleep at around 4:00 and then wake up at around 17:00, which I am not happy about. But that was last week, I am now happy to announce that I have fixed my sleeping schedule, I sleep around 7-10pm and then wake up around 5-6am. I am thankful to my teacher who brought it up, because I have forgotten how to sleep early.

Now on to the topic, to be honest, I don't want to go back to school but at the same time I really want to. Here are some reasons why I feel this way:

  • I get to lazy at home, for example I forget wash my face or take out the trash.
  • At school I feel productive and ready, though I feel really tired when I get home.
  • Online classes are cool, because I get to stay in my pajamas and do my work at the same time.
  • I get to see my friends back at school and do weird stuff together.
  • At home I get to hang out with my family more and eat a lot more food than before.
After writing all of this I have realized that, being home is getting boring so for now I would really like to go to school. I hope you have at least enjoyed me rambling about school, here is a photo I have taken of the moon during quarantine. Have a great day!
