  8.   Water
Steps:
  1.   Gather materials.
  2.   Cut bananas, Stylophone cup, cardboard and bread into little pieces.
  3.    Then put 4 test tubes into the test tube stand.
  4.   Add the bananas, stylophone cup, cardboard and bread to each test tube.

Orana Park Visit

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post, today I would like to share an awesome experience in term 3. In the last week of term 3, we went on a field trip to Orana Park. As you may have seen, I think there was a post here about Orana Park. Orana Park is famous for its animals (of course) and the different species of gorillas. There were many animals but my favourite was the Kea.

What is a Kea?

The Kea is a New Zealand native bird named one of the smartest birds. They look like parrots but with darker green-ish feathers with smaller bottom beaks and the kea also has bright orange feathers inside their wings.

I also took some pictures and videos though they are only off kea and two other animals. I could not take anymore due to the insufficient space on my phone. Though I wish I could have taken more, we also saw some tigers, orangutans, kiwi, giraffe, emu, cheetah, lions, meerkats, different amphibians, rhinoceros, gibbons and other animals. We also got to feed the giraffe, I was scared at first but I was really scared overall. The giraffe pulls hard on the plant and if you did not know the giraffe has a purple tongue so their tongue wouldn't get sunburnt while eating.

Here is a video I have made for the animals I captured through my phone. Enjoy!

Goodbye!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post, today I would like to make a post about the end of term 3. As you may have to know term 3 has ended and I would like to share some of the memorable activities that have happened throughout the term.

One of the things that happened in term 3 was the transition of our hurumanu subjects, we now have drama and science rather than music and playback pe. What I liked about is Drama, we got to play games and learn about being healthy. In science, I liked the 2040 documentary because it showed what was happening to our world and some way we can help create a better future.

This is a post

Another thing was the bake sale, I made a post on the back sale recently I hope you check it out. This was a memorable thing because we got to make food and help the school out. Here is the link to the post: http://hpslyand.blogspot.com/2019/09/food.html

Lastly, I want to talk about the new buildings in our school, our school has 3 new buildings we call it Kahui. All of the buildings are spacious and modern, my class are in the first building called Mōhua, it is an NZ native bird. In Mōhua we are with two other classes, that makes us three classes, we are currently using M1, M2 and M3 classrooms.

Well, the is all, for now, I hope everyone enjoys their school holidays! Have a great day!

FOOD!!!

Hi everyone! Today I would like to share a cool event my cip class did for the school. So this idea was made up from one of the teachers that were teaching us, the idea why to have a bake sale to fundraise for the senior championships. I thought this was a great idea so we prepared and designed what kind of desserts we were going to make. We also had to work in groups of 3-4, I was working with my friends Alliah and Jolly Rose. We had decided to make chocolate chip pancakes because the bake sale would be held at morning tea and we thought people would really like it. So on the day of the bake sale, we had to prepare our pancakes 30 minutes before the bake sale because we wanted it fresh. Then after that, it was finally time for the bake sale.

My group and I helped sell the desserts, our dessert was the first one to be sold out due to the number of people who wanted it. After the bake sale, we got a total amount of $200 dollars and probably more. Our teacher said it was enough to supply the senior team for the sports championships. Though I did not take a picture of the pancakes I have a replacement picture.

Lastly, I want to thank all the people who came and bought some desserts, we can not thank you enough.

Also here is the recipe my group and I made:
