For the last 2 weeks in my class we have been practicing some traditional dances. The year 5's will be doing the Samoan Sasa, the year 6 and 4's boys will be doing the Super Haka and the year 6 and 4's girls will be doing the Ti Rakau sticks. We have been practicing these performances for 2 weeks. We have put a lot effort in these performances.
Thank you to Miss Bell for organizing this performance. She has been teaching us how to perform these. I hope you like it bye!I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Lovely Post Lyan. The te raco sticks hard to lean? It looks like it i know the Haka was easy for me to learn because i already knew half of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat was your favorite scene of the te raco sticks?
