Beats and Beyond!

Hello everyone! We have just finished our Art and Science hurumanu and has started a new one. Our new hurumanu is Music! We have decided to call this Hururmanu Beats and Beyond. In this Hurumanu we are learning the true definition of music, plus we are also going to learn some instruments. On Monday we learned different types of Music, like Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B and many more. Today Mr Mitchell bought in four guitars.

The first one was a Dreadnought Guitar. A Dreadnought Guitar is a Guitar with a big body, it has steel strings and is shaped like a number 8 except with a smaller top.

The next one was a Nylon String Guitar, it is a guitar that has nylon strings. The next one is a very interesting one, it is an Electric Guitar, an electric guitar has a whammy bar which changes the string's tension. The last one is a backpackers guitar, this guitar has a strange shape, well the guitar Mr Mitchell brought, it was shaped like a triangle but with a few curves, the neck of it is the same length as a normal one.
