Nature!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post today in drama we had to think of 5 ways to be healthy in nature and some other things that are linked to being in nature. We also talked about a creation story where people talk about how the world was made. My favourite part of this session was learning about the different kinds of creation stories that are created by other cultures. Now let us get started!

5 Ways to be healthy in nature:

  1. Make time for people and enjoy the world around you.
  2. Be active, move your body - Meditation - and run around.
  3. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty in nature.
  4. Be curious about the world and learn more.
  5. Do something nice for the environment.
We also had to describe one way we can enjoy the outdoors including setting a goal for a new outdoor activity. So a way to enjoy the outdoors is playing sports, going on a walk with family, do some gardening and many other. Then we also had to set a goal for a new outdoor activty I thought maybe we could go swimming since my family doesn't go swimming often.

We also had a task where we had to find a picture of one of our favourite outdoor place. My one is the park because you get to see tall trees and beautiful flowers.

This is important to my family because when we got to NZ this was the first place we went to and it holds many memorable

Now we had to watch a creation story I mentioned this on the top of this post. The creation story is a story that explains how the world was made. One story I know was from the Philippines it is called 'How the world was made'

Here is a sentence from the story:

"Thousands of years ago there was no land nor sun nor moon nor stars, and the world was only a great sea of water, above which stretched the sky. The water was the kingdom of the god Maguayan, and the sky was ruled by the great god Captan."
