Changes and Challenges

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post today, I will be sharing with you some information about slam poetry. This week in drama we also learned about who we are and how we are changing. We also got to make a bio poem, which is a single poem written about a person, that person could be you or you're a friend.

Here is my bio poem:

Lyan

I am lazy, polite, intelligent and positive.

The big sister of Lyah, daughter of Lyn and Joaquin and the best friend of Alliah, Jolly Rose and Lauren.

I love food, playing the piano and my bed.

The emotions I normally feel are happiness, sadness, and anger.

Things I fear are the dark, losing people who are close to me, and spiders.

One of my most recent achievements is I reached a really high level on reading plus.

I want to go travel around the world and help make the world a better place.

I was born in the Philippines but now I live in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Along with that we also learned things about the changes in our body, how boys voice changes when getting older and how girls voice somehow get higher.

During drama we also learned about Slam Poetry, you might have heard people using it around the world to protest and teach people more about climate change and the problems of our world. I really like slam poetry but in my opinion, I think it is really hard to make one. Here is an example of slam poetry about beauty.

We also needed to answer a question. The question is "What do you need to do to perform a poem?'

Well, I think I am going to use a DLO to make it and I am going to use Animatron which is a site to make animations. I also want to use powtoon.
