Spring Learning Journey: Food l Activity 15

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post, today as you may have read from the title, I am doing another activity to count for the spring learning journey. So for today's post that task that I am doing is about maths. The task is: If the answer was 100 pizzas, what could the question be? Then after doing that we have to come up with at least 3 different ways we could find this answer.

Question & Solution 1:

There were 20 pieces of pepperoni, another 20 pieces of grated cheese, 20 bottles of tomato sauce, 20 pieces of dough and 20 pieces of mozzarella cheese. How much pizza's will it make?

Count how many things there are, there are 5 things, they all have 20 pieces. So all we need to do is multiply 20 by 5. That would equal 100 because 2 x 5 equals 10 and all you need to do is at another 0.

Question & Solution 2:

Lia had ordered 50 pizzas for a big wedding party, Xavier also bought 50 pizzas for the big wedding party. How many pizzas would there be in total?

There would be 100 because all you need to do it add them both together. - 50 + 50 = 100 -

Question & Solution 3:

Lee had 150 pizzas for a big company party, 50 of them were eaten. How many pizzas were Lee left with?

The answer is 100 because it says 50 of them were eaten and he had 150 from the start so all you need to do is subtract 50 from 150. So the answer would be 100.

Well, I hope you like this post, I hope you have learnt something. Please have a great day!
