WEEK 2: I HAVE A DREAM...
Day 1: TAKING THE LEAD
Activity 1: Playing Favourites
Barack Obama was the President of the United States of America (USA) from 2009-2017. He made history as the first African American person to be elected President of the USA.
Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. His father was from Kenya, Africa and his mother was American. His parents divorced when he was young and his father died in a car crash when Barack was 21 years old. As a young man, Barack studied law at university which is where he met his wife, Michelle.
Together, Barack and Michelle have spent much of their adult lives helping others and giving back to their community. When they are not at work, they can be found doing their favourite things, including spending ie with their family, playing with their dog, or going to the gym.
What do you like to do for fun? Do you also enjoy spending time with family? Do you have a special pet?
For this activity, we have to create a list of our Top 5 favourite things to do and we had to take a photo of ourselves doing each of these things.
As you can see I have not put any photos up except for the photo I took of the flower. I did that purposely because I don't really feel comfortable putting up a picture of me doing all this. Please Understand.
1. Reading
I really love to read books because it makes me happy and when I am reading I feel like I am where that place is.
2. Sleeping
Sleeping is one of my favourite things to do because it's sleep. Everyone needs sleep and I always even if it's in the afternoon.
3.Drawing
I really like to draw because my sister really likes to draw landscapes and I practice drawing so I could one day make a really good drawing and give it to her as a present.
4.Photography
I really like to take photos of the world and how magical it is. It helps me relax and feel good about myself.
Here is a photo I took:

Dancing is one of my favourite things to do because it helps me stretch out my body and keep me active.
Hi Lyan,
ReplyDeleteHope that you had a lovely Christmas and an interesting New Year. I'm sure 2020 has many adventures in store!
Wow great choices! I really love your choices because they are so healthy and diverse! I especially like that you have written about reading because this is something that I do a lot of too! What books are you reading at the moment?
Just looking at the question, it asks for you to take a photo of you doing each activity. If you could upload pictures of you doing your activities then you can get full points for the activity. :)
Keep up the great blogging work!
