Oprah believes in the power of education. She started her own school on South Africa The Oprah Winfrey Leadership School for Girls. She wants to provide young people with opportunities to follow their passions.
For this activity, we had to share our future plans, what we want to do after we finish high school or college.

When I finish high school I would like to take a short break, maybe around 2-3 months. Just travelling. After that I would find a job to raise money, to go to my university fees. With that, I will learn more about history and photography. Because two of my dreams are to become a photographer and a history teacher. I really like photography because I feel it express things well and captures how beautiful things are. When I was a child, my dream was to always become a teacher because I loved to help people learn. I really like to learn more about the history of our world and how people lived before (in ancient times).

ReplyDeleteVitaraag here, back to comment on your blog. Can you believe it? The end of the Summer Learning Journey is slowly creeping up to us. You still have a little bit of time to slap a few more activities out of your way. Anyways, you have created a wonderful blog post! I really like how you told us some back story to the activity. I also really like how you told us what the Summer Leaning Journey is. What I want to do is make a YouTube channel as soon as I finish high school. Then I will go to college and university to study and become a scientist. Maybe next time you could tell us what you learned from this activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! ReplyDeleteGreat work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity. There is only one more day left to get those activities done and gain those points so keep blogging and commenting.
Going travelling is a great idea. You learn so much when travelling around and not just about different places and people but you learn a lot about yourself. Photography is a fantastic way to express yourself and it's great that you have found that to be an outlet for you to do so. What do you enjoy taking pictures of most?
